TechnologyDuyuSense interrogates the light travelling through standard optical fiber to detect strain, temperature and vibration along its entire length — with FBG and DAS at the core.
A laser launches precisely controlled light pulses into the optical fiber.
Micro-changes from strain, heat or vibration alter how the light reflects and scatters along the cable.
Our interrogators read these optical changes at high speed and high resolution — even over long distances.
Signal-processing algorithms convert raw optical data into events, locations and alerts.
A Fiber Bragg Grating reflects specific wavelengths of light that shift with strain and temperature. We have developed proprietary FBG sensors with enhanced sensitivity and durability, together with a novel interrogation system for real-time, high-speed measurement.
DAS turns an ordinary telecom fiber into thousands of virtual vibration sensors. Our patented systems improve spatial resolution and signal-to-noise ratio, while an advanced signal-processing algorithm reduces noise and improves event-detection accuracy.
These innovations position DuyuSense at the forefront of the fiber optic sensing industry, enabling unparalleled solutions to complex sensing challenges.

DuyuSense works with Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) and Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS). FBG measures strain and temperature with high precision at defined points; DAS turns an entire fiber, kilometres long, into a continuous vibration sensor. We hold patents in both areas.
Our patents cover two core areas: an FBG interrogation system for real-time, high-speed measurement in harsh environments, and a DAS signal-processing algorithm that significantly reduces noise and improves event-detection accuracy.
For DAS, yes: standard single-mode telecom fiber becomes a sensor once an interrogator is connected at one end, with no electronics in the field. FBG needs gratings written into the fiber, so dedicated FBG sensors are installed at the measurement points.
Choose FBG when you need precise strain or temperature at known points, and DAS when you need continuous vibration and event detection along a long route. Many projects combine both. See our DAS vs FBG guide for details.
Our technology tracks heat, bending and strain across railways, borders, building integrity and aviation — and our team is ready for B2B collaboration and project partnerships.
